HMM1 Lesson 1
Since I've got the lesson tomorrow and the blog hasn't been updated in a while, let's learn some vowels and at the same time I'll get to revise for tomorrow's class. (I hope Sabine will enlighten us soon on some korean she has picked up today. Say, how do you like the name I've come up with for you? haha.)
You can do this whenever you're bored. Feel free to practise aloud. Just not too loud especially if you're reading this from the school library's computer. I don't think you'll want anyone staring at you wondering whether you're feeling all right.
a -- (ah) as in "up"
e -- (A) as in "A,B,C,D" that A or can also be (a) as in "alive" -- depends on context
i -- (eee) as in "in"
o -- (or) as in "of"
u -- (oooooo) as in "boot"
Disclaimer: My pronunciation may not be accurate so you may ignore the sounds I've created in the brackets and use those in the inverted commas instead to help you along.
